Will hard toys hurt my baby's teeth?

My son is eight months and he has six teeth. He doesn't really like to play with his baby chew toys, he likes to play with hard stuff like my Nephew's matchbox cars. He chews on them and it makes me nervous because I'm afraid it's going to hurt his teeth. What do you think, is it okay to let him play with them?

Just think of babies being like new cars. They are new models and we are sadly...the old used ones. Your baby is a lot stronger than you think, not much can actually hurt them. I have a one year old and he is the same way, nothing has hurt his teeth. I suggest just let your baby play with what ever he wants.
Reply:i don't think there is any harm for his teeth.. however the matchbox cars have small wheels that will come off... be careful and watch him to make sure he doesn't choke!
Reply:yes that will be fine, just keep an eye on him, my son i salso 8 months and has 7 teeth and chews on the tv remote!
Reply:no he can't play with hard toys
