Do Chihuahua dogs lose their baby teeth?

My six month old has lost 2 of her teeth. I am not sure if they are suppose to lose their teeth and if those teeth will be replaced with other teeth.

Do Chihuahua dogs lose their baby teeth?
Definitely will lose the teeth and two new teeth are coming up, this is perfectly normal not only for a chihuahua but for all dogs, make sure you don't give him nothing hard to chew while missing the teeth..☺
Reply:i think so.
Reply:Dogs are like people. They do lose baby teeth. Don't worry it is normal.

Make sure the tooth fairy leaves her a treat under her pillow. :-)
Reply:All puppies lose their teeth. They will be replaced with adult teeth. They usually swallow them, so it is rare to actually find them....don't worry too much.

However, when your pup's adult teeth have grown in make sure you keep them clean. Get your dog used to haveing his gums and teeth touched (you can clean them with an old toothbrush and get doggie toothpaste at petco). Bad oral health is a major problem for dogs and can cause health problems for their whole body...even shortening their lives significantly. Get your dog dental chewies and rawhides to help keep his teeth clean and gums healthy.
Reply:Yes of course they lose their baby teeth.
Reply:Oh yeah...they lose their baby teeth, but it's unusual to find them, most dogs swallow them. Don't worry! Besides, Chihuahua's eat everything! I have one, she's one of the loves of my life, but it's just like having a child...you have to watch what they put in their mouths!
Reply:take it to a vet
Reply:The Baby teeth usually flow right in, I am not sure about losing them, my dog has never lost hers, just look at her choppers. One thing she does like is a shot of Gin...she's a Happy Camper.
Reply:just like us puppies lose their "baby teeth". This occurs around 4-6 months of age. So you should have nothing to worry about
