Do monkey's have baby teeth?

which they loose like us, or just one set for there life. And are we the only species which have milk teeth?

Do monkey's have baby teeth?
All mammals that haven't devolved their teeth have baby teeth, it's one of the more subtle defining characteristics of our family.





Two sets of teeth, one that grows in during infancy or late fetal development and another set that grows in to replace the 'milk teeth'.

Reply:yes, as much as dogs and cats and many many other animals.
Reply:Yes they would like any other mammalians they would teeth like any other.
Reply:Quite a few animals have 'baby teeth'. Dogs %26amp; cats for example. So I strongly suspect that primates will have them too.

I only wish I knew the answer.

Reply:Yes and no. Monkeys have MONKEY teeth! But baby monkeys do have (and lose) 'milk teeth', just like human babies and babies of almost all mammals!
