If the doctor does want to take the teeth out, will it hurt my child?
Pulling the baby teeth out?
why would they pulll out a baby's teeth out? they should know better!
Reply:yea it will
Reply:They will usually always numb the area first, same as an adult.
Reply:why would u take ur babies teeth out?theyre just growing in!
Reply:depends if they put numbing medicine in hetr gums or not or wat dentist it is.
Reply:the dentist pulled 2 of my sons teeth out and nothing ever came of it so i would say it's ok...they should give you some numbing medicine for afterward and a local during the procedure
Reply:probually , but its fo de good/
Reply:Make sure you have specific reasons, research it on the web, get a 2nd or even 3rd opinion. Go with your gut, but, if several notable doctors tell you to pull it, use your brain. I'm sure they will do what it takes to make your child comfortable for the procedure, just make sure you are comfortable with it too. It took me a while (and a 2 hour drive) to find a pediatric dentist that will let me back in the exam room during my toddlers teeth cleanings (they are 3 yo) but that drive is well worth my piece of mind knowing they are being took care of and their fears are being calmed. Good luck
Reply:How old is ur child and why r they pulling his teeth? My son has very bad teeth. He has had a lot of dental work. It started when he was 2. They put him to sleep and capped 4 of his teeth. He did fine with that.
Reply:if they are really loose it really wont hurt much
Reply:probably depends a bit on how old the kid is. i was 12 and had 12 baby teeth pulled out coz they werent falling out by them selves. it wasnt to bad
Reply:Not if your child gets numbed.
makes sure that they wait at least 10 till 15 min after they give your child the shot.
Happen to me they gave my son the shots (i expected them yto wait those 10 min next thing i know(it happen so fast)he pulled his teeth out my son was screamming then they got pissed at me on top of that because he did not closed his mouth(cause of the bleeding)well he was only 2 and did not know any better.
I went to another dentist and he couldn`t beleive he did not waited at least 10 min to give it a chance to work so he felt his teeth beeing pulled.
They baby theeth general don`t hurt as much as the real onces.
My son was up and running after a couple of hours and the next day he ate everything again it healed so fast.
Reply:the dentist will give some local anesthetic, once your child is numb, they will not feel pain. They may feel pressure or pushing
Reply:o.k first he won't feel pain if he's numbed,i don know y ur child is gettin he's baby tooth pulled out, anyway i'm sure ur dentist has his reasons but u have 2 get a space maintainer immediately specially if u're extracting a baby tooth that won''t get replaced soon or u'll lose that space and his permanent tooth might get impacted!
