Medication during pregnancy and make baby's teeth yellow?

I heard there is some kind of medication that may cause your baby yellow teeth and I am wondering what it is?

Do you have any idea?

Medication during pregnancy and make baby's teeth yellow?
Yes, some medications taken during pregnancy can affect the teeth of the baby. Your physician would know what they are and I'm sure would not prescribe them to an expectant mom. You should have also told your OB what, if any, meds you are currently on.
Reply:That's ridiculous. Your baby doesn't even have teeth yet.
Reply:Some antibiotics stain their teeth. My son was on zithromax and his teeth were yellow for weeks- you just have to scrub them every day, eventaully it goes away.
Reply:wow that's strange. i don't think so. well maybe...
Reply:Sucking on highlighters makes their teeth yellow.
Reply:Your baby does not have teeth yet (unless he is the 1 in 2 mill taht are born w/ one) some liquid antibiotics stain teeth but only because they come in contact with the users teeth. Nothing you do while pregnat can damage your childs future teeth.
Reply:I know what your talking about.... back in the 50's there was an antibiotic that did that. My mom was one of the babies that has yellow teeth. I don't think that it is so much a problem now. but your dr would know.
