Baby teeth question?

Hi there, my daughter (81/2 months) has 6 teeth,3 top and 3 bottom. The bottom ones look just fine but between the front top ones there is a huge gap (almost to fit another one or two teeth). Is that any indication of how her second teeth will look like when they come? Thanks Klara

Baby teeth question?
Hi! Baby teeth can come in at random and they look funny at first. I wouldn't worry about it in the least. They are baby teeth and it doesn't in any way indicate that her adult teeth will be uneven. Just wait and watch, they will fill in more as she grows especially in the first 18 months. Invest in a toddler toothbrush and use swallow safe toddler toothpaste. Orajel makes good toothpaste for that. I bursh my daughters teeth at bath time before bed.
Reply:Are you sure it's her center front teeth? My baby got his side front teeth first in the upper gum, the center front teeth came a few weeks later.
Reply:I dont know but my baby just turned 1 on the 14th of June and she has a gap between her two front teeth too. I have been wondering too if this means her regular teeth are going to have a gap. I dont know if they will get closer as other teeth come in or not. Sorry, I know this doesnt answer your question but I wanted to respond since I am experiencing the same thing.
Reply:Wow!! My 11 month old is getting her top two in as we speak. Your little sweetheart has alot of teeth. You can't be sure until the second set comes in. Don't worry, that's what the dentist is for. I'm sure she will look fine.

Teething time is soooo difficult isn't it!! UGH! It drives me crazy!! But it's not their fault right! Take care Mommy!
