Baby teeth question?

My daughter was late getting her teeth in. Still at almost 22 months, has only 8 teeth so far. Have any of your kids or any you know been the same way? Please give ages if you can, I'm curious.

Baby teeth question?
My daughter didn't get her first tooth until about 10 months, and at age 2 only had about 8. She is now two and a half and has them all! She went through a period of six months of constant teething, but it didn't seem to be too painful, she chewed on her fingers and toys a bit. They all catch up eventually.

Oh, and it didn't seem to matter about solid foods, she managed just fine.
Reply:My big sister was a late teether, her last baby tooth fell out when she was about 14 so I guess she'd have been quite old when she got them in the first place maybe 5 or 6, I don't know exactly, because I wasn't born at the time :)
Reply:My daughter did not have that issue, but I watch kids in my home and one of the little girls I watch will be one next week and is just now getting her first tooth. And I mean just now, it's only breaking through today. So, who knows, all babies are different.
Reply:i dont know sorry my son is 18 months old and he has like 10 or more teeth already.
Reply:Children are all different and develop at different ages. My oldest son had four teeth at 3 months old! And so did his first born daughter.... He and his sister (my youngest) both walked at nine months. My youngest son walked at 13 months! Children get teeth, walk, talk and develop at different ages---nothing to worry about....
Reply:By 22 months, your baby should have Central incisors,Lateral incisors, and Cuspids (canines). My daugter's teeth are not coming in the correct order. she is almost a year old and got her lower central incisors in two months ago and now her upper canines are breaking through so i'm planning to ask her doctor about it at her next appointment.

Reply:My son is 9 months old and still doesn't have a tooth in his little head. However, he has been crawling for 2 months and eating some table food since the doctor said it was okay to start solid foods when he was crawling on his hands and knees. The doctor said that all babies do things a different times and not to worry because his child was a year before they got their first tooth.

Also, I work with a lot of elderly women and they keep telling me that the later the teeth come in the stronger they are. I know it's just a wives tale but it made me feel better.
