My 25 yr old boyfriend still has his baby teeth & it worries me...What should he do?

He doesn't think he has adult teeth behind them. Is that normal? What if there are no adult teeth?

he should go see a dentist. if his adult teeth do decide to show up, his mounth will get over crowed and it'll hurt and cause all of his teeth to bunch.. and if they do he'll have to get braces!
Reply:if he goes to the dentist often and they have said that it is not a problem then dont worry about it if he hasnt seen a dentist for a while i would get him to make an appointment if you dont have a dentist write to the local health authority they should be able to tell you which dentists in your area are accepting NHS patients
Reply:I'm 18 and at this exact moment my mouth has been numb for an hour from getting my cavity filled and getting a baby tooth pulled. I'm not sure what was going to happen but the dentist recommended that I get it pulled because it wasn't normal for someone my age.
Reply:I know a lady in her 40s who still has all of her baby teeth. She never developed any of her adult teeth. She has been to doctors and dentists, and everything is fine. There are some people in the world who will never have adult teeth. If the teeth are in good condition, then don't worry about it.
Reply:THIS IS SEEN IN SOME PEOPLE. HE NEEDS TO TAKE XTRA CARE OF THESE TEETH AS NONE WILL REPLACE THEM.
Reply:This sometimes happens, and there is nothing for you or him to worry about however if all of his baby teeth are in place and have not fallen out then you should see a dentist as he may have a genetic or a congenital disease. The cause of this is tooth ankylosis this means that a tooth will bond to the bone so then your tooth can't fall out and it is retained there for life or if there are no permanent teeth under the baby teeth.
Reply:tell him to go see a dentist. Good luck!
Reply:This no that unusual!! If they are tight then there may not be permanent teeth there. Some people keep them for many yrs!! Doc W
