What proper treatment should i give for my baby's teeth' he's 11 month old now and has 8 front teeth?

My baby now is starting to eat solid food already and everyday I noticed that his teeth are becoming yellowish in color

What proper treatment should i give for my baby's teeth' he's 11 month old now and has 8 front teeth?
my daughter is 7 months old, and just got her 2 front bottom teeth. her doctor told me when she was 5 months old, to start brushing her gums so as to get her used to having her teeth brushed when they come in. he said to use a pea size amount of children's toothpaste. he said to use that because the baby and toddler toothpaste does not have fluoride, and baby's teeth need fluoride. plus the children's toothpaste tastes better than adult's. he said not to worry about them swallowing the toothpaste as long as you only use a little bit. he said a little bit will not hurt them. he also said to brush with the toothpaste, then rinse the toothbrush, and brush two more times with just water, rinsing in between brushes, because that will help rinse the toothpaste out. your child's doctor should have told you to brush your son's teeth as soon as they came in. they should not be yellow. that's not good at all. your son needs to be tought better hygeine.
Reply:brush and floss daily?
Reply:bonjela is a very good treatment to use for things like dat
Reply:they have baby toothbrushes and finger brushes with baby toothpaste w/o fluoride so it's safe for you children to use.

i would suggest using the finger brush at night before bed just to get your baby in the habit...
Reply:Have you let him play with a toothbrush? Just let him have it while he's sitting in the highchair...he'll chew and it should do him some good. They do also make a "my first toothpaste"...you can find it in the baby section.
Reply:Good dental hygiene habits should begin before your child's first tooth comes in. Wiping your baby's gums with a soft damp cloth after feedings helps to prevent the buildup of bacteria. When teeth appear, start using a soft children's toothbrush twice a day

Once your child is preschool-age, start using fluoride toothpaste. Don't cover the brush with toothpaste; a pea-sized amount is just right

Young children tend to swallow most of the toothpaste, and swallowing too much fluoride toothpaste can cause permanent stains on their teeth.
