Correct. Keep in mind, though, that at approximately the age of six, adult first molars erupt behind the baby molars, thus giving the child 24 teeth with which to chew. Don%26#039;t mistake these adult molars for baby teeth. They with little exception larger and more robust, and are arguably the second-most important set of teeth in the human mouth next to the canines.
Generally, eruption of adult first molars occurs before exfoliation of baby incisors, FYI.
