I still have most of my baby teeth at 15?

I%26#039;m 15 and i still have 8 of my baby teeth left, I find this odd because a majority of my friends had lost all theirs at much younger age. Do some people just lose thiers slower or should i see a dentist

Having 8 baby teeth at age 15 yrs is uncommon and you should have your dentist check into that. They can take a Panorex x-ray and this will show them if the adult teeth are present or missing or is some teeth may be impacted (laying down sideways in the gum)

Most baby teeth are exfoliated by the time most kids are about 12-13 yrs old, and in most cases there are not as many as 8 over retained baby teeth by the age of 15, 1or 2 or possibly 4 but 8 is a little high.

Enclosed is a chart of Baby Teeth Eruption schedule and Permanent Teeth Eruption. The schedule is only an approximation, but can tell you more about when those baby teeth should have come out

Reply:Some people don%26#039;t lose their baby teeth, I know someone%26#039;s uncle still has a baby tooth and he is 40 something.
