How old was your little treasure when they started loosing their baby teeth?

just answered the question about how much the tooth fairy should give (£1.00 in our house) and was wondering at what age your little one%26#039;s started loosing their baby teeth, my daughter is 5yrs 4mnths %26amp; lost her 1st btm front tooth this week.

How old was your little treasure when they started loosing their baby teeth?
Five years old, tooth fairy is a must!!! Make sure you have a baby book.... She lost her bottom teeth too... Tooth fairy,hummm--- I give a dollar, but in quarters, they think they are richer than you....lol....My daughter said to me, %26quot;Mom, I have many monies%26quot;, I laughed and thought she was cute....Now she says to me buy this, just use your credit card....I told her it does not work that way... lol...Right now they are so impressionable and think that your bank account is endless...which I wish were true...lol... Only if money grows on trees... Good luck, it%26#039;s a special time for you and her, let her know that she is growing up and getting bigger. This will make her be more confident in herself.
Reply:about 7- yea 1 pound is as much as the fairys can afford.xx
Reply:My son was just 5, he is now six and has lost most of the front ones. They look so different when their adult teeth come through!
Reply:My son is 5yrs and 4 months too and has lost his first tooth (bottom front tooth) today. The tooth fairy is probably leaving £1.00 tonight.
Reply:My oldest was five, my seven year old still has all his baby teeth and none are loose (he teethed really late and the dentist is not worried about it at all), and my five year old who is about to turn six on the 25th has her first loose tooth now.

Reply:Our daughter was 5 plus one month. she lost 2 in one week!

she was six last week and has lost 4 with one more wobbling!

Our tooth fairy gave £1 for first one, and 50p for next.
Reply:both of my children did not lose their teeth until they were 6yrs old plus my son is 6 yrs and 4 months he just got he%26#039;s first wiggler so it should come out this week. my daughter was pretty close to the same age as well
Reply:Between the ages of 5 and 7 years old are about normal for loosing baby teeth.

Our toothfairy usually leaves 1.00 and a toothfairy kiss. (I use body glitter and put a small amount on their cheek. When they awake in the morning they look to see if they have a kiss on one side of their face. They don%26#039;t wash that off until the end of the day. Oh, I forgot to mention...The money isn%26#039;t just your ordinary money, its money from toothfairy land. It also has the glitter (body glitter) smeared on the front of it.

Have fun with things like this, kids believe for such a short time that I hate not to make it magical!
Reply:Each child is different. My eldest was nearly 7 when her teeth started falling out but she didnt get any teeth till she was nearly 2yrs old! My youngest lost her first tooth about your childs age which id say was roughly the norm....Once theyre at school and its photo time i always found that each yr there were gappy smiles!
Reply:The average age is 7ish, but 5 is ok.

Be careful when you set the amount, there are lots of teeth to loose! They will expect the same amount every time.

We give a dollar - a new one dollar gold coin only b/c we don%26#039;t generally receive them and it makes them special.

My girl is now 7 and has lost 6 teeth. We saved them, and she thinks she can trick the tooth fairy into getting more money. Ha! Of course she doesn%26#039;t.
Reply:my son was 5 and 1/2 but my daughter is 6 and hers are not loose yet .
Reply:My little treasure(my 5 year old brother) hasn%26#039;t lost any baby teeth yet.
