I recently adopted a shelter cat - we didn%26#039;t get a real estimate on his age. Based on his behavior and general size, we guess he%26#039;s about a year old. Very recently, however, he lost a molar, and hasn%26#039;t lost any other teeth in the few months we%26#039;ve had him. So I was wondering - what age do cats stop losing their baby teeth? I realize every cat is different, but I would like to have a more definitive estimate of my kitty%26#039;s age.
At what age do cats stop losing their baby teeth?
Kittens should have most of their adult teeth by the age of six months. Not to say that some aren%26#039;t late bloomers. Your cat may have lost an infected tooth. I would take him to the vet just to be safe.
