I still don't see any sign of lower baby teeth appearing to my son who is three years and four months old.

He alrady has all his teeth now accept the lower 2 baby teeth which I think is not normal but doctors say they will come by the time he is 4 or 5 years old

I still don%26#039;t see any sign of lower baby teeth appearing to my son who is three years and four months old.
Which two lowers? Are they in front or in back? Under normal circumstances, the primary teeth (baby teeth) in the front begin to erupt first, the rest following. If the teeth missing are in the back, then it%26#039;s ok, he will erupt a few more around 6 yrs old.

You need to take him to a pedodontist (children%26#039;s dentist), for an evaluation. The dentist will be able to tell from x-rays if there are any teeth still under the gumline. Even though he%26#039;s only 3 yrs old, he has teeth now. They need to be cleaned and checked every 6months just like yours.

Always consult a dentist for the best advice concerning your dental health.

Reply:well if your sons doctor says it%26#039;s OK than it is probably OK just wait until he%26#039;s 4 or 5
Reply:Take him to the dentist...kids should already be going to the dentist by the time they are about 2 years old anyway.
