Does it hurt to have baby teeth extracted?

How does it feel. Does it hurt. What does the needle or general anaseatic feel like. What tools do they use. Can you feel it coming out or cracking. What do they do once the teeth is extracted do they stitch it. Im only 13 in 8th grade and next week i need 2 baby teeth extractions on the bottom jaw for braces. That would be grreat help.

Kind Regards.

Hi Ben. Don%26#039;t worry too much there little bud. When its time to get your shot for the extraction, the doctor will rub a general anesthetic to the area to help numb. What you will feel is a little pinch and maybe a bit of pressure. The pinch will be more noticeable after general anesthetic and novacaine (which is what the shot may be) wear off. It will not hurt to have your teeth extracted. You will feel pressure but should not feel pain. Now the downside, the braces and tightening them will hurt more than the actual extraction of your teeth. Good luck, just grin and bear it and think of how nice your smile will be for the ladies. ;-)
