Do cats lose their 'baby' teeth?

Do cats have baby teeth like humans? and if so, do they fall out?

Do cats lose their %26#039;baby%26#039; teeth?
i think they do
Reply:yes they do and yes they fall out.
Reply:Yes. They loose their teeth like humans and they fall out.
Reply:Yes. Usually they swallow them.
Reply:I cant wait to read this response as a friend of mine told me my cat would lose its teeth as a kitten but it never happened. If it happens to cats it didnt happen to mine!
Reply:Yes they do. They usually start getting their %26#039;big kitty%26#039; teeth at about 4 or 5 months, then the baby teeth fall out after the big teeth start coming in.
Reply:yes they do just like all baby animals.
Reply:Or is the real question do baby teeth lose their cats.

oooh me sooooo confused brain thingy hurt night night.
Reply:Yes,cats do have %26#039;%26#039;baby%26#039;%26#039; teeth, but they only fall out from poor hygine. You can talk to a vet about wher to buy speacial cleaning utensals.Pets mart is good place to look
Reply:no
Reply:the body grows so therefore teeth have to also,it%26#039;s a mammal thing. humans and animals share allot of the same growth and diseases.
Reply:all babies loose their baby teeth. because they are so small you will probably never find them when they come out, cats have less of a problem when teething than people or dogs, they do less chewing.
Reply:If they%26#039;re messed up they will....
Reply:Well, I’ll really get chewed out if I don’t come up with the right answer to this one,ME ! Yes, cats do indeed have baby teeth—26 of them, in fact, to be exact—and they start to lose them when their permanent teeth begin to grow in at about three months of age.

And in case you were wondering, when a kitten puts a lost baby tooth under the pillow at night, the Tooth Fairy doesn’t come. (But the Tooth Furry does, of course!)
Reply:Yes. They also lose whiskers and nails.
Reply:well I think so because I mean kittens have such tiny teath smaller then your pinky toe nail! I%26#039;m not liying ever try!
Reply:yes always
Reply:Yes, cats and dogs both lose baby teeth as their adult teeth come in, the same as humans. Sometimes these teeth fall out and will be found, but often the teeth fall out into the kitten%26#039;s mouth and the kitten just swallows them. Kittens can have sore gums and even fever with teething, just like human babies.
Reply:Hi! I%26#039;m no professional when it comes to cats, but I sure do have a lot of experiences with them. Cats do not have baby teeth like humans - they have baby fangs. There is a point in a cat%26#039;s life where you%26#039;ll be able to find 4 pairs of fangs. I am not sure what happens to the baby fangs. I guess they just fall out when the new set of fangs are fully developed. I have yet to observe if my cats grow new sets of the other teeth. I hope this helps.
Reply:yep they sure do, i found a few teeth from my kitties and i kept them!!!! i even found a moler!
Reply:Cats baby teeth are replaced during the first 6 months of life with 30 adult teeth
