I have to lose ten baby teeth that arent lose how do i lose them before i have to get my braces? HELP!!

The only way to remove baby teeth before they are loose is by getting them taken out by the dentist. Most dentists won%26#039;t do this unless they feel it is necessary though because your teeth can grow in crooked.
Reply:My son did not lose his baby teeth and when the permanent ones were coming in behind the dentist pulled them without a problem. If you try and force them loose you might experience some pain if the root is still living. I would not suggest doing that...
Reply:You don%26#039;t - you can really cause more damage by trying to get teeth out before they are ready - they can break off and the roots can be stuck in the gums and an oral surgeon will have to remove them. The dentist or ortho will be able to determine how to best get those baby teeth out. Good luck.
Reply:Your dentist should be the one to talk to about this. He/she should have told you what to do and what not to do in preparation for your braces. It doesn%26#039;t make sense to me to get braces when you still have baby teeth, or if they come out and leave great spaces between your adult teeth. How are the braces supposed to work properly under those conditions? Talk to your dentist!
Reply:They will extract them (pull them out) if they can%26#039;t wait for them to come out. It depends on how old you are.





Things have changed a little since I had my braces (in the late seventies, early eighties), but NONE of my baby teeth came out. When I was 9 they pulled my two top and two bottom teeth. When I was 10 they pulled four more. And when I was 11, they pulled 10 more -- 6 were baby teeth, and 4 were adult teeth that didn%26#039;t have room to fit in my mouth (canines) -- they don%26#039;t pull those as much anymore....
