I had a baby tooth because the other tooth was not coming in, it went the wrong way. I had braces to pull the adult tooth down and the baby tooth was pulled. Do not worry it does not hurt, and you do not need the baby teeth anyway. The dentist would not do it if it was not ok.
Reply:Yes.
Reply:Thats usually the case. They pull out any teeth that would be problematic for the braces.
Reply:O Yea i had 6 baby teeth removed can u spell ouch haha dont worry thou it will b worth it when u have a gorgeous smile
Reply:I would recommend that you wait to get braces until all of your adult teeth have grown in!! A few of my friends got braces when they had baby teeth (and yes they had to be pulled) and it made there teeth look screwed up! It made there gums look way bigger than their teeth (because their teeth looked small). I would seriously wait until your teeth have stopped adjusting before getting them straightened with braces. That is what I had to do.
Reply:wait until your baby teeth becomes permanent then you can get your braces....
Reply:Yes you will have to get them removed but at least the dentist is not drilling a hole or has an unusualy scary item used for no purpus.
Reply:Well, when I got braces, I still had 2 baby molars in the back. They just put the braces on and left an open wire there until I lost them and they grew. But, they only did this to me because those teeth were going to fall out real soon. If that is the case for you, then you might just leave them in and let them fall out on their own.
Reply:they usually wait until all of your baby teeth are out before they put braces on, however, this does leave open the possibility that they will pull teeth to move things along, usually, there is no point in getting braces if you do not have all of your teeth.
