He's been excessively drooling since 5 months old and at his 9 month appointment, his doctor told me she could feel them and that they should be in in a few weeks, I can feel them in the gums and he's been chewing on everything he can get his hands on. Is there anything I can use to get his teeth to come through faster? I'm worried I'll have to take him to the dentist to have them cut them out... Any suggestions?
My son is twelve months old and has no baby teeth yet- should I worry?
NO U SHOULDN'T WORRY. WHEN THEY COME IN THEY WILL
Reply:probably not yet. My twins didn't get thier first teeth until 13-14 months. My sister is a dentist and she even xrayed them to make sure teeth were in there! Of course they were. Once they start coming they won't stop. I think he'll be fine. Talk to his Dr or call your dentist just to make sure. But I would n't worry.
Reply:I WOULD MAKE AN APPT. WITH A DENTIST TO HAVE EX-RAYS DONE TO MAKE SURE HE EVEN HAS TEETH!!! MY STEP- DAUGHTER HAD THE SAME ISSUES!!! IT TOOK HER FOREVER TO GET ANY TEETH AT ALL!!! WAS HE A PREEMIE? SOME MEDS CAN SLOW THEM SOME IN COMING IN!!!
Reply:NO- our son didn't get any teeth until he was 16 months old.
Teeth that come in later are healthier and the teething is easier-at least for our son it was.
Reply:he might not have teeth buds! take him to the dentist. They make baby dentures
Usually babys should get there 2 bottom teeth in around 6 months
Reply:dont worry give him 6 more months and then worry my daughter started the teething stuff at 3 months but her tooth finally broke through at 7 months
Reply:No and I read once the later they come in the better. Better dental health they will have later in life. You just gave him great teeth. They will come in when ready:)
