My baby's teeth are not coming in the usual order, is this something to worry about?

My ten month old got her two bottom front teeth around 7 and 8 months. She had a little teething break and now one just broke through on top. Rather than one of the two front teeth I was expecting,it's farther right. I'm not sure if it's a lateral incisor or a cuspid because without the front one's it's hard to judge. Is this just another one of those "all babies are different" things or should I be concerned? I know it sounds dumb, but I feel like she is never going to have her two front teeth lol.

You have nothing to worry about, lol. Two of my nephews had there incisors which came through first and they looked like Dracula for a while until the front teeth grew. They have perfect teeth now they are adults. Of my own 4 children none went absolutely ''to the book''. They all develop differently and at their own pace both the teeth and their general growth and development.
Reply:Its nothing to worry about. babies teeth come through through all angles. its fine, you shouldnt need to worry.!
Reply:I felt the same way. My son got his two bottom front teeth around 7 months also. I asked his dr. if he was ever going to get his top two teeth. She said everything was fine, and that it would be very unusual to not get them; if he didn't have them by the time he was 1 year or so, that they could do an x-ray. Needless to say, he got all of his teeth!!

Try not to worry as this is very normal. Bring it up at her next dr. appointment if you are still concerned.
Reply:Not at all. My oldest's teeth came in all sorts of odd.

It is probably his lateral incisor as teh next one out is canine and *SHOULD* be the last of the baby teeth to erupt. They are alos usually the most difficult. My poor little guy cut all four canines at once! Our entire househols was in distress for a month because he was so miserable no matter what we did! Glad that's over.
Reply:My son got the two bottom teeth first and then the two top front teeth, but then it has skipped around a bit. At least not in the order I would think. He had some spaces I didn't think would ever come in, but sure enough they did. I don't think it's anything to worry about.
Reply:I dont think its something to worry about, my son grew two teeth in one spot! and the dentist said that it was nothing to worry about they would fall out and when his new teth came in she would check them and make sure there was just one
Reply:I wouldn't worry. It's not that big of a deal but if other teeth start coming in and they are not in the right place, then talk to your doctor.
Reply:All babies get their teeth in at different places at different times, my son got 1 front tooth and one bottom tooth first then he got in a side tooth on the top the the other front top and bottom. I would not worry about it.
Reply:my kids teeth have done some strange things so I wouldn't worry too much. My twins both had adult teeth come in behind the baby teeth so they ended up with two rows of teeth on the bottom front. The dentist said it was common and ended up having to pull the baby teeth since what usually makes them fall out is the adult teeth pushing up on them.

I would say wait and see what happens, it's likely that the two front teeth will come in very soon.
Reply:The old wives tale is that the later the teeth come out, the stronger they will be. There's nothing to worry about because they are her baby teeth and not permanent.

Genes have alot to do with it too.

My baby is 9months old and still no teeth at all.

My mom said that my baby teeth started to pierce around 1 year old and my husband's started around 10 months, so I expect mine to be a late bloomer too.

If your really concern or if her teeth come out crooked then call a dentist. Good Luck!
Reply:it's completely normal, since i'm dentist i didnt freak out coz my kids also had really UNUSUAL teething sequence, nothing to worry about , besides he's still young, if he grew up without having front teeth at all, take to a dentist and check him up, he might take an xray to see if the teeth r there hiding or missing, but i said when he's older not now !!
Reply:You have no need to worry at all, my baby got his two bottom, then one that's next to the two front on top and now at 9 month's the two front are making their way through.
Reply:Nothing to worry about mine got her eye teeth befor her front teeth.

Good luck with the whole teething thing. My second is just 5 weeks and I am so not looking forward to that again..lol
