Do permanent teeth grow in the same place where you loose your baby teeth?

My daughter ( 5yrs) just come to me and told me her tooth is loose. I was looking at it and I noticed another tooth coming in right behind the loose one. Is it normal to have your permanent tooth coming in right behind the baby tooth and the baby tooth isnt even out yet?

yup, pretty common.
Reply:well not always thats why baby teeht are mostly straighter than permannet teeth, most permanent teeth grow in crooked
Reply:Yes, that's fine. FYI though - there are only 20 baby teeth and 32 permanent teeth so they don't always line up exactly. Check out the cool link below:
Reply:Very normal yes.

  1. Ideally, your child should have a dentist visit by the time they're a year old. However, many parents wait until their child is a few years old. Putting it off any longer than that is a bad idea, as your dentist won't have a chance to look at how your child's mouth and teeth are growing and developing.
